Welcome to our fencing school in Cape Town! Founded in 1999 by David Wagenfeld, our school offers a structured approach to learning the basic offensive and defensive techniques of fencing. Young students can expect to develop insight, speed, reactions and daring through our courses, focusing on concentration and energy control.

Fencing may seem like a violent sport, but its philosophy is one of “harmonious conflict.” Mutual respect is at the core of our ethos. The age of chivalry lives on!

Whether you’re 7 or 70, we welcome anyone with a zest for life and a desire to learn more about fencing and themselves to join us for a trial period. Our school caters to all ages, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
